Kimmo Korhonen

Kimmo is an Art Director with a long track record working for leading Finnish agencies PHS (TBWA), Euro RSCG (Havas) and Lowe as well as his own award winning agency King which merged with Valve in 2014.

Kimmo has worked mainly in branding new products, building ideas for communication concepts and film making. Kimmo is specialized in brand strategy, advertising and communication concepts, branding, package design and the moving image. In a small country you have to be a specialist in almost everything.

Over the years Kimmo’s clients have varied from FMCG and services to B2B. Everything from beer to cars, and constipation medicine to mobile services. Kimmo is also a still photographer whose work in TV and Movies, as well as in portraiture has captured positive attention.

Kimmo lives in the outskirts of Helsinki by the seashore and is still married to a girl that he met when they were both 18. They have wonderful son Lukas and a much loved grandson Kaspian. Kimmo’s wife is an elementary school teacher and so partly responsible for Finland’s great success in the Pisa studies. His mistress is curvy blonde called Marylin, a ‘69 Corvette.
